CASPER, Wyo. — High winds have prompted the closure of Interstate 25 from Wheatland to Douglas to light, high-profile vehicles Saturday afternoon.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation announced the closure around 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
Northwest winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected in east Platte County until 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
