Ledvance, one of the world's leading providers of general lighting for professionals and end consumers, has been the company responsible for lighting the new Critical and Semicritical Intensive Care Unit of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid.The lighting project has provided the public hospital with high performance and energy efficient LED technology, with significant improvements for patient care and care for their families, also facilitating the work of health professionals.LED technology allows the Ramón y Cajal Hospital to improve the lighting of work areas and optimize its energy consumption.As a whole, the action, carried out on the 4th and 5th floors of the hospital, has included the installation of different lighting solutions in different areas.To respond to the needs of the administration area with offices, work rooms and a secretariat, the company chose the installation of IndiviLED 600 dimmable DALI panels.In the patient waiting rooms and in the work areas within the ICU area, the lighting project opted for the Downlight Performance UGR DL recessed spotlights, due to their optimal glare index (UGR 19) and high protection against dust and humidity (IP54).In his case, for the general access corridors and the warehouse area, the chosen solution was the Performance PFM 600 panel.
