Ledvance, one of the world's leading providers of general lighting for professionals and end consumers, has presented a preview of its novelties at the last edition of Light+Building. In addition to the wide variety of new products in the segments of LED luminaires, LED lamps and smart homes (Smart Home), the company has publicly presented for the first time its new design language "Scale" that translates the modern tonality of the brand into a three-dimensional form, expressing the agility and clarity of the brand through the products. On the other hand, Human Centric Lighting (HCL) or, in other words, light that has biological effects to improve our well-being, is an important focus for Ledvance.Along these lines, the company intends to be one of the first providers to offer the market solutions that have positive effects on well-being, humor and motivation, and that, at the same time, are characterized by their simplicity of installation and use.For the definition of its portfolio, Ledvance is dedicating its 100 years of experience in the lighting industry. In less than two years it has grown from being a manufacturer of predominantly traditional lamps, to becoming an independent, dynamic and globally active lighting company with one of the largest portfolios of LED solutions for general lighting. In record time, Ledvance has broken into the top ten lighting suppliers in Europe, now aiming to achieve leadership positions in this global growth market. To achieve this growth, the company is committed to the continuous expansion of its portfolio of solutions, the unerring focus on ease of use and the design of high-quality products.True to its promise of “The light that moves forward”, Ledvance has an ambitious growth target of expanding its range of LED luminaires to 2,700 products by the end of this year.A figure that represents a tenfold increase in its portfolio compared to 2016. Jacob C. Tarn, CEO of Ledvance, is clear: “We intend to be number one in the world in LED general lighting. For us, Light + Building has been an important milestone in this exciting new chapter in our company's history."The offer for the industrial sector is a very important part of the more than 300 new lights that the company will launch this year on the market for the professional channel. They are complemented by smart LED tubes and sensor solutions specially developed for industrial applications. The range of luminaires adapts to the difficult particularities of industrial environments, promoting comfort, concentration and safety in work stations, meeting the prescribed brightness levels, while offering full performance, even in environments of production extremes (dust, heat, humidity).Likewise, the new portfolio of luminaires responds to the need to quickly compensate for the investment in new lighting thanks to low energy and maintenance requirements, and Dali and Zigbee connectivity that allows flexible and efficient control of energy.Ledvance is adding High Bay Dali smart high bays to its product family of powerful high bay luminaires for warehouses, factories and logistics centres. The best thing about this range is that it can be extended with external presence and daylight sensors, for example in a Dali environment. As a result we obtain even greater energy savings, reaching a luminous efficacy of 140 lumens per watt. The new waterproof Damp Proof Special are presented as the perfect luminaires for special applications where humidity is present, such as, for example, food industries or industrial kitchens.Their robustness and protection index (IP69K) make them resistant to residues of oil, gas and even detergents. The new Direct/Indirect LED panel adjusts to the specific requirements of work environments, offering 70% direct light and 30% indirect light. With an elegant, high-quality design, the luminaire guarantees a glare index of less than 19 (UGR < 19).It has a useful life of up to 50,000 hours, a luminous efficacy of 110 lumens per watt and will also be optionally available in a DALI version.IndiviLED is a new family of luminaires that offers lighting based on “light squares”.The fact that each individual LED has its own lens and reflector results in excellent anti-glare properties of UGR < 19 and excellent light distribution.Downlight Comfort is postulated as the perfect luminaire for basic lighting in offices, also offering excellent anti-glare properties (UGR <19).It offers easy color temperature change to 3,000, 4,000 or 5,700K via a small DIP-type switch on the back. Finally, Ledvance has presented two new Smart Office concepts. The Smart Office sensor, with its combined ZigBee 3.0 and DALI interfaces, provides users with a very easy way to control heterogeneous lighting systems that use both standards, allowing existing installations to be upgraded with minimal effort and cost. The sensor detects presence and brightness so it can regulate light according to demand and thus help reduce electricity costs. The second product concept takes the form of a smart light switch that has been developed as an easy way to harness the positive biological effects of light, especially in conference rooms and group work areas. The switch automatically adapts the artificial light according to the natural course of daylight. With its intuitive user interface, it also allows you to manually set different lighting modes to suit individual requirements.Tracklight Spotlights by Ledvance is an extremely compact and minimalist family of spotlights for rails, with the possibility of tilting and rotating to highlight any object in the store. The standard 24-degree reflector can be easily replaced with a reflector offering a 15- or 38-degree angle for different effects. They provide high anti-glare properties (UGR <16) and excellent color rendering (>90).The new TruSys track system offers uniform lighting for aisles in large retail outlets or supermarkets with long shelves. This versatile lighting system is made up of extremely flat linear rails and luminaires that can be positioned quickly and easily, creating continuous or intermittent lines. The new Downlight Comfort luminaires are excellent for their fantastic anti-glare properties (UGR<19) and are particularly suitable for basic lighting in commercial establishments of any size.It offers dimmable color that can be easily set to 3,000, 4,000 or 5,700K via a small DIP switch on the back. The family of Spot Spotlights expands with new models such as Spot Vario or Spot Multi. The Spot Vario can be used as a classic downlight (fully recessed) or with the luminaire head extended. It has a black anti-glare ring and allows easy connection of Dali or DIM devices. As for the new Spot Multi, it is a truly versatile reflector with cardan joints so that it can be adjusted in any direction and provide a high degree of flexibility. This is especially attractive for fashion boutiques where a single luminaire must provide flexible background lighting and accent lighting.Ledvance also expands its extensive portfolio of LED lamps. The new AR111, PAR16 and MR16 reflector lamps in mains voltage (230V) and low voltage (12V) versions now have excellent color rendering (CRI 97), making them perfect replacements for halogen lamps. The same applies to LED lamps in the Classic A, Classic B and Classic P designs. With the exception of AR111, all bulbs are made of glass.Ledvance will add to its product portfolio a range of emergency LED luminaires for a wide variety of applications. This new range stands out for its versatility, ease of installation and minimalist design in line with the rest of the portfolio, which makes the new emergency luminaires even more attractive to installers.Ledvance has introduced its third generation of state-of-the-art Osram-branded HQL LED lamps, even more compact, lighter, more versatile and with new lumen and color options, becoming efficient and modern successors to mercury vapor lamps ( HQL) and sodium vapor lamps (NAV), partially prohibited on the market by different regulations and still widely used in countless luminaires throughout Europe. The new lamps are also presented as the immediate solution to offer optimal and efficient light in municipalities with tight budgets. All new models offer an exceptionally long lifetime of up to 50,000 hours and two colors of light: 4,000K to provide bright, security light and 2,700K for warm lighting, used especially to create pleasant atmospheres in historic centres. The comments are the opinion of the users and not that of the portal.Insulting, racist or contrary to current laws are not allowed.Comments that are not related to the news/article, or that do not comply with the Legal Notice and the Data Protection Policy, will not be published.Legal Warnings and Basic Information on Personal Data Protection: Responsible for the Processing of your Personal Data: Interempresas Media, SLU Purposes: Manage contact with you.
