Philips will be launching new products in its Philips Hue smart home ecosystem this year, including new ceiling and wall options, as well as smart lamps of various colors. However, the most unique option it will be bringing to the table is track lighting.

The new Philips Hue Perifo Track Lighting will be coming, bringing with it the option to customize the direction and focus of all of your lights while gaining the same smart home connectivity as the rest of its Hue series.

It looks like the Perifo series track lighting will feature multiple configurations, such as your typical spots, as well as pendants and even light bars or tubes. Perfect for lighting artwork and decor on your walls, while also adding some ambient transitions and effects where it will look nice. All while making use of track pieces that connect together for custom lengths (both on the ceiling or the walls).

The only issue is that it seems the Perifo track lighting won’t quite be available here in the US just yet. The announcement only mentioned a European launch for now (end of Summer 2022). So it is currently unknown if these will make it to the US or when that might be if they will.

They do look nice though and you could probably expect that they will eventually make their way here as well. Track lighting has a lot of demand here, especially for custom homes and lofts.
