RCA Commercial Electronics announced this week that it is expanding its lighting business, adding LED lighting and lighting controls formerly sold by LG Electronics USA. This expansion increases RCA’s role in the U.S. commercial lighting business. RCA Lighting is a lighting supplier for installations in schools, major hospitals, and UPS distribution centers throughout North America. LED technology has proven to be a resource-saving solution for new construction and renovation projects.
“We are excited to expand our business with LED lighting and lighting controls formerly sold by LG USA. We look forward to continuing to offer former LG customers a broadened product line of innovative lighting solutions, backed by a strong warranty, along with the level of customer service that RCA Lighting is known for in the marketplace,” said RCA Commercial Electronics CEO Jeff Kingston.
To serve current and future customers, Kingston said RCA intends to bring some of the former LG U.S. lighting regional managers onto its team.
“We have always made it a priority to fulfill customer orders with same-day shipping on in-stock items. We are well-positioned to handle this new volume, related customer support, and field maintenance, having recently opened a new 50,000-square-foot Technology Center in Indianapolis,” Kingston said.
